The 63rd District Court in Kent County is getting a new home. The county broke ground on the nearly $7 million facility Wednesday.

Teen hit by car as he sits inside his home

Grand Rapids(WZZM)-A Grand Rapids teen was hit by a car as he sat inside his home. The driver then fled the scene.  It happened around 10:30 in the morning in the 400-block of Coldbrook Street NE.

It has almost been a year since Kent County Commissioners unanimously approved a multi-million dollar project to house a new 63rd District courthouse.

Driver identified in Whitehall crash
